10 May Art Monaco Show 2014

The Contemporary Art event that cannot be missed

By- Fabrice Salvadori.

The 5th edition of the prestigious Art Monaco Show will open its doors in the heart of the Principality, from April 25th to the 27th 2014. Meeting up with the project director, Anastasiya Severgina, a passionate young woman who brilliantly takes upon a position of responsibility to make this edition a unique event.

What is your function within Art Monaco?

I’m the project manager and the one in charge of VIP relations and media partnerships.

What inspired you to orient yourself in this line of work?

I worked for the Opus-Eventi enterprise in the past within the public relations department. From this experience, I discovered that I had a passion for event planning and I especially loved organizing upscale and exclusive events. Then, a few years later, with the expansion of the company, I had the opportunity to get into this adventure. Working for Art Monaco has allowed me to broaden my horizons internationally and to reveal a second passion inside of me: Contemporary Art.

What was the influence behind creating the Art Monaco art fair?

This exhibition intends to promote the art industry of the French Riviera and around the world. It provides a promotional platform for collectors, gallerists, artists and lovers of contemporary art in a warm, friendly and exclusive environment.

How will the show present itself this year ?

Better than ever! After a year of production and demanding selections, we will have a list of exhibitors that will make this show a sophisticated, artistic, and cultural event that is not to be missed. A “must”! We will also benefit from the collaboration of internationally recognized galleries like the Pashmin Art Gallery, and we will place emphasis on photography with the productions of famous photographer Kristian Schmidt as well as the extravagant Mauricio Vélez. It is also worth mentioning all of the new collaborations, such as, to name a few, that offered by the association “Friends of Lebanon in Monaco”, for which we are organizing a charity gala at the prestigious Hotel de Paris next April 26th.

What opportunities will this cultural event have to offer ?

It will allow emerging artists to create new partnerships with international galleries. It will also offer collectors the opportunity to explore and choose, without any stress, from over 4,000 works of art collected in one place. Lets also not forget the galleries, which will benefit from more than 10,000 potential customers and art lovers, who can leisurely enjoy the works being presented.

Taking place in the heart of the Principality of Monaco, what do you think will resonate with the show internationally?

The Art Monaco Show has a presence in 52 countries and affects more than 37 million people a year. The Principality is already recognized to be the playground of the rich and famous. This is the perfect opportunity for professionals within the art industy to get together.
